Site Manager – Roofing Refurbishment
Location: Woolwich, South East London
Start Date: 24th August 2026
Duration: 18 weeks
Project: Warehouse Roofing Refurbishment
We are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee an 18-week roofing refurbishment project on a warehouse in Woolwich.
The Role
- Manage the day-to-day running of the site
- Oversee roofing refurbishment works and subcontractors
- Coordinate site activities and ensure the programme is maintained
- Ensure health & safety standards are adhered to
- Monitor quality and progress of works
- Liaise with the client and other project stakeholders
- Manage site paperwork, RAMS, inductions and daily records
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Site Manager
- Experience working on roofing or refurbishment projects
- Strong knowledge of health & safety procedures
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Able to manage subcontractors and work to programme
The project is due to run for 18 weeks, with potential for further work afterwards for the right candidate.
