Freelance Site Manager – L&Q Contract
Location: East London
Contract: Freelance / CIS
Duration: Approx. 3 months
Rate: £280–£300 per day CIS
Start: Immediate / ASAP
We are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to join an established planned maintenance and social refurbishment contractor working on an L&Q contract across East London.
The role involves overseeing kitchen and bathroom replacement works across scattered residential properties, including occupied and void properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day delivery across multiple sites
- Supervise subcontractors and trades
- Coordinate labour, materials and deliveries
- Ensure works meet programme, quality and H&S requirements
- Monitor progress and resolve site issues
- Liaise with residents, clients and stakeholders
- Complete site inspections, paperwork and progress reports
- Ensure properties are clean, safe and ready for handover
About You
- Previous Site Manager/Site Supervisor experience in planned maintenance, refurbishment or social housing
- Experience with kitchen & bathroom programmes and scattered sites
- Strong subcontractor and resident/client liaison skills
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
- Organised, proactive and confident working independently
