Waites Recruitment Consultancy are seeking an experienced construction site manager for a client based in London on a full time basis (ON SITE), this is a fantastic opportunity.

Duties and responsibilities in this position are:

Enforcing the installations of systems to the highest of standards and quality

Providing supervisors and site team with clear instructions and project information

Ensuring measuring and setting out of systems are correct

Ensuring substructures are correctly installed, level and ready for decking

Ensuring the installation of decking is installed correctly with no more than 5mm tolerances around perimeter unless deemed otherwise

Carrying out daily checks on all works carried out on-site by my clients team

Conducting daily checks around site to ensure it is safe and fit for work

Conducting checks on team members ensuring they are fit for work

Ensuring no issues or incorrect installation has occurred

Raising/rectifying any issues noticed/notified of

Ensuring sufficient and correct photos are being taken at all stages of works and are being input into the quality assurance paperwork correctly

Arranging with supplier’s cool offs for material and consumable stocks with ample time to ensuring the continuation of works

Updating senior management with time frames and if works are/not running to programme

Completing shift reports daily and uploading to my clients portal

Completing Quality Assurance check sheets correctly ensuring no mistakes or unwanted photos are uploaded

Carrying out briefings, inductions and toolbox talks

Enforcing health and safety rules on-site

Commencing in teams calls with clients and providing requested information correctly

Communicating with clients via email

Providing updates on projects within weekly meetings

Notify my supervisor/manager of any holidays or absence of work with adequate notice
