Site Manager

Experienced Site Manager | Major Residential Development | Quality & Finishing Focus

We’re currently working with a leading house builder who is looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to join a major residential development.

This is a great opportunity for a Site Manager who is strong on quality, snagging and finishing, and who takes genuine pride in delivering homes to a high standard.

We’re particularly interested in speaking with Site Managers who have a proven track record working on large-scale house-building developments and are confident taking a project through the final stages of construction, snagging and handover.

The Role

As Site Manager, you’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day management of your site, ensuring homes are delivered safely, on programme and to a consistently high standard.

A major part of the role will be maintaining quality and driving the site through to completion. You’ll need to have a very good eye for detail, be proactive with snagging and be confident holding subcontractors and trades accountable for getting work completed correctly.

You’ll also be expected to use Field View effectively for inspections, quality checks, snagging and reporting.

We’re Looking for Someone Who Has:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within major residential house building.
• A strong understanding of the complete house-building process.
• Extensive experience with snagging, finishing and handover.
• Strong Field View experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and a genuine focus on quality.
• Experience managing multiple trades and subcontractors.
• The confidence to challenge poor workmanship and drive standards.
• A strong understanding of construction programmes and sequencing.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid.
