I'm working with a major UK food manufacturer looking for a Site Services Manager to take ownership of critical utilities, infrastructure and compliance across a high-volume production facility.

The Opportunity
You'll lead a specialist Site Services team responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant and efficient delivery of all utilities and engineering services across the site.
This is a role with genuine responsibility. You'll be the go-to expert for critical systems, contractor management, compliance, planned maintenance, energy efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.
You'll also play a key role in capital projects, business continuity planning and driving operational performance across the wider site.
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Managing site utilities including steam, HVAC, water treatment, gas and electrical systems
- Leading planned preventative maintenance activities
- Ensuring compliance with key legislation and engineering standards
- Managing contractors and specialist service providers
- Driving energy reduction and continuous improvement projects
- Managing budgets, maintenance spend and capital investment projects
- Leading investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Developing and coaching a high-performing Site Services team
What We're Looking For
You'll likely come from a food manufacturing, FMCG, processing, utilities or other highly regulated industrial environment.
You'll bring:
- NEBOSH General Certificate
- Strong knowledge of statutory engineering compliance
- Experience managing utilities and critical infrastructure
- Knowledge of pressure systems, legionella, ammonia and confined spaces
- Proven leadership experience within engineering or facilities operations
- The ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the business
