Site Supervisor

The Role

The Site Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day management, supervision, and delivery of reactive complex repair works across a social housing portfolio. The role involves overseeing a wide range of works including emergency and planned roofing repairs, groundworks, drainage, structural repairs, kitchen and bathroom replacements, damp and mould remediation, void property refurbishments, and other complex building repairs.

The Site Supervisor will ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, to a high standard of quality, and within agreed timescales, whilst maintaining excellent customer service for tenants, residents, and client representatives.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of reactive complex maintenance and repair works across multiple properties.
• Oversee subcontractor performance, ensuring quality, productivity, and programme compliance.
• Ensure all works are delivered safely and in line with health & safety requirements.
• Coordinate site activity and sequencing to minimise disruption to residents.
• Monitor quality standards and carry out inspections to ensure works meet specification.
• Work closely with Resident Liaison Officers, clients, and internal teams to support smooth delivery.
• Manage site logistics, materials, access arrangements, and maintain accurate site records.

About You

As a Site Supervisor, you will have:

• Proven experience managing reactive complex works including kitchen and bathrooms, groundworks, roofing.
• Strong experience managing subcontractor-led delivery in occupied properties.
• Good working knowledge of health & safety regulations and site compliance.
• Experience working within social housing or occupied environments.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and workstreams.
• Confident communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with residents, subcontractors, clients and internal teams.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach to site management.
• SSSTS or SMSTS
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
