Site Supervisor at Axis CLC, Ealing, Greater London

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee the delivery of both active and passive fire protection works across multiple projects in West London.

What You’ll Do

• Lead site-based teams and subcontractors, ensuring all fire safety installations, including fire doors, fire stopping, alarms, and associated systems, are completed safely, compliantly, and to the highest quality standards.
• Work closely with clients, operatives, and project stakeholders, drive programme performance, maintaining regulatory compliance, and supporting the successful delivery of critical fire safety improvement works.
• Ensure all works comply with Health & Safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Deliver toolbox talks, risk assessments, and site inspections, promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Coordinating site activity, managing subcontractors, and working closely with Resident Liaison Officers, clients, and internal teams to ensure a smooth and positive experience for residents.

About You

• Proven experience supervising active and passive fire protection works within social housing.
• Strong knowledge of passive fire protection systems, including fire stopping, compartmentation, fire doors, cavity barriers, and intumescent coatings.
• Experience overseeing active fire protection installations, including fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, smoke control systems, and associated fire safety works.
• Demonstrable experience managing direct labour and subcontractors to ensure work is delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.
• Good understanding of current fire safety legislation, Building Regulations, and relevant British Standards.
• Experience of Health & Safety, RAMS, and compliance processes.
• Experience managing teams and monitoring performance metrics.
• IT proficiency (Microsoft Office, mobile work management systems).
• CSCS card and supervisory safety training (SSSTS / SMSTS and/or IOSH Managing Safely preferred).
• FIA, FDIS, FIRAS, BM Trada or equivalent fire industry qualifications (desirable)
