City Calling is recruiting a Site Supervisor to support the safe and efficient delivery of construction operations on site. Our client is looking for an experienced and reliable Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day site activities and support the Site Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising operatives and subcontractors, coordinating works and ensuring all activities are completed safely, efficiently and in line with project requirements.
### The Role
As a Site Supervisor, you will play an important role in the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring works are progressing to the required standards while maintaining high levels of health and safety.
### Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily site activities, operatives and subcontractors.
- Allocate duties and ensure workers understand their responsibilities.
- Monitor progress and ensure works are completed safely and to the required standard.
- Conduct site inspections, briefings and toolbox talks where required.
- Ensure all workers follow RAMS, site rules and health and safety procedures.
- Check that operatives have the correct PPE, qualifications and training for their duties.
- Coordinate deliveries, materials and site access with the Site Management team.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, attendance information and timesheets.
- Report hazards, incidents, defects and delays to the Site Manager.
- Support the Site Manager in resolving operational issues and maintaining an organised and productive site.
- Communicate effectively with workers, subcontractors and the Main Contractor.
### Requirements
Valid right to work in the UK. Valid Gold CSCS Supervisor Card. Valid SSSTS certificate. Valid First Aid certificate. Previous supervisory experience within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of construction health and safety requirements. Good leadership, organisational and communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with site teams, subcontractors and management. Able to use basic digital systems, email and Microsoft Office. Reliable, professional and able to work effectively under pressure.### What We’re Looking For
