Site Supervisor in Glasgow, City of Glasgow

Location: Glasgow 
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

We are seeking a hands-on Site Supervisor to oversee a fast-track fit-out project valued at approximately £500,000–£600,000.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Supervisor with a joinery background who enjoys being actively involved on site, leading from the front and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, coordinating trades and subcontractors, maintaining programme deadlines and taking a proactive approach to resolving issues as they arise.

• Supervise day-to-day site activities on a fast-track fit-out project.
• Take a hands-on approach to site management, with a particular focus on quality workmanship and progress.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades and deliveries to ensure the project runs smoothly.
• Monitor programme deadlines and ensure works are completed on schedule.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety across the site.
• Carry out quality checks and ensure works meet the required specifications.
• Liaise with the Project Manager, subcontractors and other key stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve site issues quickly to minimise delays and disruption.

• Previous experience working as a Site Supervisor within fit-out or refurbishment projects.
• A joinery background or trade qualification would be highly advantageous.
• Experience delivering fast-track projects in the region of £500k–£600k.
• A practical, hands-on approach with the ability to lead by example.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• The ability to coordinate multiple trades and maintain momentum on site.
• A strong commitment to health and safety, quality and programme delivery.

This role would suit a Site Supervisor who combines strong practical trade knowledge with the ability to manage a busy site effectively. A joinery-led background, a proactive attitude and the confidence to get involved wherever needed will be key to success.
