Site Supervisor required in London

We are working with a well-established specialist drylining contractor based in London, who are continuing to grow their project portfolio and are looking to appoint an experienced Site Supervisor to join their delivery team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Supervisor with a strong background in drylining, partitions, ceilings or specialist interiors to work on major high-rise projects across London and become an important part of a growing business.

Responsibilities of the Site Supervisor:

  • Supervising day-to-day drylining activities on major construction projects.
  • Managing and coordinating site operatives and subcontractors.
  • Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications and programme requirements.
  • Monitoring productivity, progress and workmanship.
  • Coordinating labour, materials and plant to ensure works progress efficiently.
  • Working closely with the Site Manager to plan upcoming activities and maintain programme.
  • Liaising with the main contractor and other trades on site.
  • Identifying and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Ensuring work areas are maintained in a safe, clean and organised condition.
  • Carrying out quality checks and ensuring works are completed to the required standard.
  • Supporting site inductions, briefings and toolbox talks where required.
  • Monitoring compliance with health and safety requirements.
  • Reporting progress, delays and any site issues to the Site Manager.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with the site team, client and wider project stakeholders.

The Site Supervisor must have/be:

  • Proven experience as a Site Supervisor within drylining, partitions, ceilings or specialist interiors.
  • Experience working on high-rise or major construction projects.
  • A strong understanding of drylining installation and construction sequencing.
  • Experience supervising subcontractors and site operatives.
  • Good knowledge of construction drawings and specifications.
  • A strong focus on quality, safety and productivity.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • The confidence to coordinate with main contractors and other trades.
  • A proactive approach and the ability to resolve problems quickly.
  • A genuine commitment to delivering work to a high standard.
