About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Supervisor to work on solar farm project. You will play a key role in overseeing daily site operations, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Working closely with the Site Manager, subcontractors, and project stakeholders, you will coordinate site activities, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with project specifications and health & safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day site activities and workforce.
- Coordinate subcontractors and ensure work is completed to programme.
- Monitor quality standards and ensure works comply with project specifications.
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times.
- Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and daily briefings.
- Identify and resolve site issues to minimise delays.
- Maintain accurate site records, reports, and progress updates.
- Liaise with the Site Manager, engineers, clients, and suppliers.
- Ensure materials, plant, and equipment are available and used efficiently.
- Promote a positive safety culture and maintain high housekeeping standards.
- Previous experience as a Site Supervisor on civil engineering, renewable energy, or large-scale construction projects.
- Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and site management.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project documentation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- SSSTS qualification.
- CSCS Card.
- First Aid at Work qualification.
- Experience working on solar farm projects.
- Knowledge of electrical infrastructure or renewable energy construction.
