Site Supervisor/Manager

£4.5m Structural Refurbishment Project 

We're looking for an experienced Site Supervisor / Site Manager to take day-to-day control of a £4.5m structural refurbishment project involving major mining headstocks.

We need someone who is a comptetent on supervisor (civils or structural repair preferred), disciplined with paperwork and comfortable managing the workforce.

The Role

• Lead day-to-day site operations and coordinate works
• Manage and supervise the direct workforce and specialist subcontractors
• Deliver daily briefings, inductions and toolbox talks
• Complete comprehensive daily site diaries and records
• Coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontract activities
• Monitor productivity and keep works moving to programme
• Ensure RAMS are understood and followed
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and housekeeping
• Coordinate multiple trades and resolve day-to-day site issues
• Work closely with the Project Manager 
• Maintain discipline, accountability and standards across the workforce

You'll Need

• Strong civil engineering, structural repair or refurbishment background
• Proven experience supervising direct labour
• Confident managing specialist subcontractors
• Strong site documentation and record-keeping
• SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS
• A practical, firm and organised management style

We're looking for someone experienced, comfortable taking control of a site. It would suit someone who knows how to manage people and maintain standards.
