Site Supervisor – Groundworks

Project: Major Infrastructure Works on a Nuclear Power Plant Development

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Supervisor to join a major infrastructure project in Friston, Suffolk. This is a long-term position overseeing groundworks operations on a large-scale nuclear power plant development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising groundworks teams, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to programme while maintaining the highest standards of health and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day supervision of groundworks operatives and subcontractors.
  • Ensure works are carried out in accordance with site specifications and safety requirements.
  • Coordinate labour, plant, and materials.
  • Conduct site briefings and toolbox talks.
  • Monitor progress and report to site management.
  • Maintain quality standards and site records.
  • Promote a strong safety culture across the project.

Essential Requirements

  • CSCS Gold Card
  • SSSTS or SMSTS
  • First Aid at Work
  • Proven experience supervising groundworks on large civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.

  • Saturday work paid at 1.5x rate
