Skilled Labourer

Our client a London based Commercial Glazing Contractor currently seek a skilled Labourer with strong glazing experience on one of their projects in Bridgend, South Wales.

The work itself is a glazing installation package on a new build 6th form college.

It is essential that you hold a CSCS card, have worked on a commercial building site, possess glazing experience of some description, and are able to provide recent work references to back this up.

Duties will include:

• Assisting Curtain Wall Fixers in the preparation and installation of a unitised Curtain Wall Systems
• Carrying glass panels and distributing to fixing teams accordingly
• Cutting, and measuring aluminium trims
• Assisting with the loading and unloading of plant, tools, and materials
• Installing EPDM around window systems
• Using Drills to screw in frames
• Holding units in place under Fixing teams instructions
• Keeping the work areas clean and tidy
• Loading skips
• All other associated tasks as instructed

This is an immediate start for someone with the right skills and is a minimum of 6 months work.
