Skilled Labourers & Jet Washers

SLR Recruitment are pleased to be assisting Neway Industrial with supplying Skilled Labourers & Jet Washers to their site on the Tyne in Newcastle!

This is busy shipyard and you will be crucial in the maintenance and completion of various vessels undergoing work in on site!

Role Overview: 

We are looking for experienced Skilled Labourers and Industrial Jet Washers to going the team on an ongoing basis!

- Carrying out general labouring duties as required

- Maintaining a safe and tidy work area in line with site procedures

-Industrial jet washing where required

Job Details: 

• Rate: £18.50 per hour (CIS)
• Hours: 7:00am – 7:00pm (30 minute break)- On site at 6.45am to clock in
• Paid Hours: 11.5 hours per shift
• Weekend Work: Available
• Positions Available: 10
• Duration: Ongoing, no end date

Role Requirements:

• Must have valid IPAF ticket
• Labouring experience ideally in a Marine or Industrial environment 
• Preferably industrial Jet Washing experience 
• Mandatory PPE: boots, helmet, and head torch

Additional Info:

• Morning briefing takes place daily at 7:00 AM
• Punctuality and timekeeping are essential
