Duties

• Use hand signals, radios, or other communication devices to guide cranes and heavy equipment during lifting operations
• Maintain clear and precise communication with crane operators and ground personnel to coordinate movements effectively
• Ensure all lifting activities comply with safety protocols and site regulations
• Conduct regular inspections of signaling equipment and ensure proper functioning before use
• Assist in setting up safe work zones by marking boundaries and ensuring visibility of signals
• Collaborate with site managers to plan lifting sequences and optimize workflow
• Document all signaling activities, incidents, and safety checks accurately in reports

Experience

• Construction experience, particularly with heavy lifting operations or crane work
• Strong communication skills to relay clear instructions under various conditions
• Proficiency in English for effective verbal and written communication
• Hold a valid CPCS/ NPORS Certification
• Able to pass security clearance
• Knowledge of safety standards related to lifting operations and site protocols is highly desirable
