Slinger Signaller at Kilnbridge Construction Services, Mottram in Longdendale

Kilnbridge is hiring an experienced Slinger Signaller to join our team on a 2.5 year infrastructure project in Mottram in Longdendale - A57, Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for a competent Slinger Signaller to join a progressive contractor delivering on a UK project.

Position: Slinger Signaller 

Location: Mottram in Longdendale, Manchester - A57

Duration: 2.5 years

Pay rate: £21

Hours: 50 hrs/week (paid) - Mon- Fri 

Weekends: Not available at present 

Start: ASAP

Slinger Signaller Responsibilities:

• A suitable Slinger Signaller must be able to safely sling & secure loads for lifting 
• The Slinger Signaller must be able to direct crane operations using hand signals & radio communication
• An expererienced Slinger Signaller must be able to inspect & select suitable lifting accesories 
• A competent Slinger Signaller must be able to ensure loads are balanced & safely positioned 
• Slinger Signaller should be able to maintain safe lifting & exclusion zones 
• A competent Slinger Signaller must be able to follow lift plans, RAMS & site safety procedures
• A competent Slinger Signaller must be able to work closely with crane operators and lift supervisors 
• A competent and responsible Slinger Siganaller must be able to report and unsafe condition or defective equipement 

Slinger Signaller Requirements:

• CPCS A40a ALL Duties - Slinger Signaller or NPORS N402 - All Duties 
• Must have an in date Safety Critical Medical Certificate - SEQOHS accredited 
• Must be a team player 
• Must have good communication with the abilty give and take instruction over radio
