My client is a well-established building services company looking for an experienced Small Works / Maintenance Manager to join their team.

This is a varied role overseeing a portfolio of small works, reactive maintenance and planned maintenance projects, working closely with clients, engineers, subcontractors and the wider project team.

The Role

• Manage small works and maintenance projects from initial instruction through to completion

• Coordinate engineers, subcontractors and site teams

• Manage programmes, costs, variations and client expectations

• Carry out site visits and attend client meetings as required

• Ensure works are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality

• Manage quotations, pricing and variations

• Build and maintain strong client relationships

• Oversee reactive and planned maintenance works

• Identify opportunities for additional works and improvements

• Provide regular project and commercial updates to senior management

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience managing small works, maintenance or building services projects

• A background within M&E / building services / facilities management

• Strong organisational and communication skills

• Experience managing subcontractors and engineers

• Good commercial awareness

• The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities

• A client-focused approach

• Full UK driving licence
