Small Works Manager

An opportunity has arisen for a Small Works Manager to join a well-established organisation delivering projects across civils,  concrete repairs and refirbishments in the Sunderland area. This permanent position offers the chance to oversee a diverse portfolio of smaller-scale works within a reputable and growing environment.

The Company

The Role
The Small Works Manager will be responsible for coordinating and delivering multiple small-scale projects simultaneously. Duties will include planning and programming works, managing site teams and subcontractors, ensuring health and safety compliance, controlling budgets, and maintaining strong client relationships. The role requires a hands-on approach with regular site visits across the region.

Experience Required

• Proven experience in a similar role within civils or construction
• Strong knowledge of bridges, masonry, or infrastructure works
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Sound understanding of health and safety regulations
• Relevant qualifications in construction or civil engineering (preferred)
