THE ROLE
As a Bodyshop SMART Repair Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out high-quality cosmetic vehicle repairs, restoring damaged vehicles to an excellent finish while maintaining efficiency and manufacturer standards.
Key responsibilities include:
·Carrying out SMART repairs to vehicle panels, bumpers, alloy wheels and paintwork.
·Completing localised paint repairs, polishing and refinishing work to a high standard.
·Preparing vehicles for paint and ensuring excellent colour matching and finish quality.
·Repairing scratches, dents, scuffs and minor body damage using approved repair techniques.
·Inspecting completed repairs to ensure they meet quality standards before vehicle handover.
·Working closely with the wider bodyshop team to ensure repairs are completed on time.
·Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
·Following manufacturer procedures and health and safety guidelines at all times.
ABOUT YOU
We're looking for a skilled SMART Repair Technician who has previous experience within a bodyshop or accident repair environment and takes pride in producing first-class repairs.
You will ideally have:
·Previous experience as a SMART Repair Technician, SMART Repairer, Cosmetic Repair Technician or Alloy Wheel Repair Technician within a bodyshop, accident repair centre or commercial vehicle environment.
·Strong knowledge of vehicle preparation, paint refinishing and cosmetic repair techniques.
·Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
·The ability to work efficiently while maintaining exceptional repair standards.
·Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a busy team.
·A positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
·A full UK driving licence.
