SMSTS Site Manager

We are recruiting for a SMSTS Site Manager / Supervisor to support a project in Wantage – groundworks

This role would suit an experienced site professional with a background groundworks or civils on ne build projects

Working on a main contractors site, you will overseeing / working for a a team of civils /groundworks sub contractors who are delivering safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise day-to-day site activities on a new build  project working on groundworks .
• Lead and coordinate a team including minor line and level  - setting out
• Ensure all works are completed safely and in accordance with project requirements.
• Maintain accurate records
• Liaise with project stakeholders, contractors and site personnel.
• Monitor quality, productivity and programme adherence.
• Ensure site documentation and reporting requirements are maintained throughout the project

Essential Requirements

• SMSTS qualification.
• Previous experience as a Site Manager, Site Supervisor
• Experience managing site-based teams and subcontractors.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain high standards of health, safety and quality.
