Job Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate Surface Mount Technology (SMT) machinery to ensure efficient production runs
  • Conduct routine inspections and quality checks on assembled PCBs to maintain high standards
  • Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimise downtime
  • Follow detailed work instructions and technical drawings to ensure accurate component placement
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Assist in the calibration and maintenance of SMT equipment to ensure optimal operation
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and quality benchmarks
  • Document production activities and report any discrepancies or equipment faults to management



Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience operating SMT machinery within a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of PCB assembly processes and electronic components
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and work instructions accurately
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to electronics manufacturing
  • Technical certifications related to electronics or manufacturing are advantageous
  • Proficiency in using measurement tools and inspection equipment
  • Experience with calibration and routine maintenance of SMT machinery
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach
