Shape the strategy. Create the content. Grow the brands.
We’re looking for an experienced and creative Social & Content Lead to take ownership of the content strategy and continued growth of Tweezerman UK’s social presence across our portfolio of brands.
This is an ideal next step for an experienced social media professional who is ready to take greater ownership of strategy and direction, while remaining very much hands-on with content creation.
This is a hybrid role in every sense – part strategist, part hands-on creator.
You’ll define what great social content looks like for our brands, establish our content strategy and platform priorities, and personally create hero and campaign-level content. You'll also work closely with our Social & Content Executive, providing direction and reviewing day-to-day output, while partnering with senior marketing colleagues to ensure social remains firmly connected to the wider brand strategy.
What You’ll Be DoingContent Strategy & Direction
- Own and develop the social content strategy, content pillars and platform priorities across our brands.
- Translate wider brand and campaign objectives into engaging, social-first content plans tailored to individual platforms.
- Brief, guide and review the day-to-day content produced by the Social & Content Executive.
- Stay ahead of emerging social trends, platform developments and algorithm changes, proactively adapting our approach to maximise performance.
- Set the standard for what great social content looks like across the brand portfolio.
Creative Content Production
- Personally create high-quality hero and campaign content, including self-filmed, fast-turnaround content when opportunities arise.
- Shoot and edit short-form, platform-native video for channels such as TikTok, Instagram and YouTube.
- Work closely with our in-house and global creative teams to develop higher-production campaign assets.
- Establish a clear understanding of what is both ‘on brand’ and genuinely ‘native to platform’ for each of our brands.
- Bring new creative ideas to the table and identify opportunities to keep our content fresh, relevant and engaging.
Performance & Reporting
- Take ownership of organic social performance and monitor key channel KPIs.
- Use social and audience data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for growth.
- Continuously use performance insights to refine content strategy and improve delivery.
- Produce monthly reporting with clear insights and actionable recommendations.
Paid Social
- Manage the relationship with our paid social agency.
- Set campaign objectives and provide clear briefs to support reach, awareness and wider brand goals.
- Ensure paid and organic social activity work effectively together.
Collaboration
- Partner closely with colleagues across Marketing to ensure social, PR and influencer activity is connected and aligned.
- Work with E-commerce colleagues to ensure social activity supports wider brand and commercial priorities.
- Collaborate across the business to identify content opportunities, product stories and campaigns that will resonate with our audiences.
About You
We’re looking for someone who understands both the science and creativity behind successful social content.
You’ll know how to build a strategy, understand what the data is telling you and make informed decisions – but you'll be equally comfortable picking up a phone or camera, creating content and getting it live.
You will ideally have:
- 4+ years’ experience within social media, combining content strategy with hands-on content creation.
- A proven track record of developing social channels and driving audience engagement and growth.
- Confidence self-shooting and editing short-form, platform-native video.
- Strong knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, Meta, Pinterest and YouTube, with a clear understanding of what performs well on each platform.
- Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills.
- Strong analytical ability, with confidence using platform insights and social listening data to guide decisions.
- Experience briefing and working with external agencies.
- The confidence to provide creative direction and feedback to other content creators.
- Experience working across multiple brands or a brand portfolio would be advantageous.
- A genuine interest in beauty, digital trends and social culture.
Above all, we’re looking for someone who is creative, commercially aware and full of ideas – someone who understands what makes people stop scrolling and can turn that understanding into a clear social strategy.
