Building Services Contractor – Birmingham (Castle Vale)

Salary: Competitive (depending on experience)
Hours: Part-Time – 3 days per week (8:00am – 5:00pm)
Location: Office based – Castle Vale, Birmingham

We are currently recruiting for a Social Media / Marketing Assistant to join a growing M&E Building Services Contractor based in Birmingham.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is creative, organised and passionate about marketing, looking to take ownership of a company's online presence and help grow its brand within the construction and building services sector.

The Role:

You will be responsible for managing and developing the company's social media platforms, including:

• Creating and uploading content across LinkedIn and other social media channels
• Managing regular company updates, project wins and company news
• Creating engaging posts to showcase completed projects and company achievements
• Supporting website updates and marketing activity
• Creating marketing materials, graphics and presentations
• Helping improve brand awareness within the construction and building services market
• Taking photos/videos of projects and site activity when required
• Supporting recruitment and company branding campaigns

About You:

Ideally, you will have:

• Previous experience in marketing, social media or content creation
• Strong knowledge of LinkedIn and social media platforms
• Good written and communication skills
• Creative mindset with an eye for engaging content
• Experience using Canva or similar design tools
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload

Experience within construction, engineering, M&E, building services or a contractor environment would be highly advantageous, as you will understand the industry and be able to create relevant content.

Working Hours:

• Part-time position – 3 days per week
• 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Flexible on which days are worked

This is an office-based role in Castle Vale, Birmingham, ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on and wants to make a real impact within a growing business.
