Description

  • Create and manage engaging content across social media channels in line with brand and tone of voice guidelines.
  • Manage online communities, build audience engagement, and support channel growth.
  • Develop relationships with influencers and content creators to support campaigns and organisational objectives.
  • Maintain content calendars and contribute creative ideas for campaigns and reactive content.
  • Capture and produce photo, video, and audio content for digital channels and events.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop, approve, and publish content.
  • Monitor social media and influencer performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Research emerging trends, platforms, and best practices to inform strategy and content development.
  • Manage influencer partnerships, including briefing, relationship management, content review, and ROI evaluation.
  • Use social media management and analytics tools to schedule content, measure performance, and deliver training and support to colleagues.

Profile

A successful Social Media Officer should have:

  • Proven experience managing social media platforms and online communities.
  • Strong knowledge of influencer marketing and building partnerships with content creators.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for creating engaging content.
  • Proficiency in social media analytics tools to track and report on performance.
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to ensure consistency in tone and branding.
  • Experience in the public sector or a similar environment is desirable.

Job Offer

  • A fixed-term contract with a salary range of £31,762 to £36,093 per annum.
