Tripod Partners are currently recruiting for an experienced Children's Social Worker to join a Children with Disabilities Team at Peterborough County Council.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Social Worker who is passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people with disabilities and their families.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

• Managing a caseload of children and young people with disabilities
• Completing assessments and statutory reviews
• Developing and reviewing care plans
• Working directly with children, young people and families
• Identifying and managing safeguarding concerns
• Working alongside schools, health professionals and other agencies
• Supporting families to access appropriate services
• Promoting positive outcomes, independence and wellbeing
• Maintaining high-quality case records

About You

We're looking for a qualified Social Worker with:

• A recognised Social Work qualification
• Current Social Work England registration
• Experience working within Children's Services
• Experience with children with disabilities is highly desirable
• Strong assessment and safeguarding experience
• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to manage a caseload effectively
