Empowering Learning are working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in Sutton to recruit a passionate and dedicated Sociology Teacher for a September 2026 start.
This is an exciting temp-to-perm opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who can deliver engaging Sociology lessons and inspire students to achieve their full potential. Whether you're an experienced teacher or an ECT, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
- Teach Sociology across KS4 and KS5.
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons.
- Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support student achievement.
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds UK QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Has experience teaching Sociology at secondary level.
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills.
- Is passionate about raising attainment and student outcomes.
- Has a positive, proactive and professional approach.
