Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in code reviews, offering and receiving constructive feedback to improve code quality.
  • Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of software applications and features.
  • Contribute to the testing and debugging of software to ensure functionality and performance.
  • Learn and apply new programming languages, frameworks, and tools relevant to project needs.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and other stakeholders on project tasks.
  • Document technical specifications, processes, and user guides for developed features.
  • Research industry best practices and emerging technologies to support continuous improvement.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrable foundational knowledge in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, JavaScript).
  • Basic understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing concepts or platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a logical approach to technical challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude towards learning.
  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree programme in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.


Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
  • Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
  • Ability to demonstrate active listening and adapt to new situations and technologies.
  • Understanding of basic business acumen and how software solutions contribute to organisational goals.
  • Any prior personal or academic project experience showcasing coding abilities.

Work Environment and Employment Details

Salary: £19,999 - £32,222 GBP
