(SC Cleared) Software Tester - Ripponden (Onsite) - Up to £50,000

We're looking for a Software Tester to join a growing engineering team developing technology that supports some of the UK's most critical national security and defence programmes. This is an opportunity to work on technically challenging projects where quality, reliability and attention to detail are paramount.

You'll play a key role in ensuring software is thoroughly tested before release, working alongside developers and technical stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Performing functional, regression, integration, sanity and end-to-end testing across web, mobile and API platforms
• Identifying, documenting and tracking software defects with clear reproduction steps
• Working collaboratively with software engineers to resolve issues quickly and improve product quality
• Contributing to the ongoing improvement of testing processes, tools and QA best practice
• Providing meaningful feedback on requirements and technical documentation before development begins

We're keen to speak with Software Testers who have:

• Experience testing software applications across multiple platforms
• A solid understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, black-box and white-box testing
• Experience using bug tracking and test management tools
• Excellent analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to work closely with technical teams
• A proactive, inquisitive mindset and a passion for delivering high-quality software

Due to the nature of the work, applicants must be willing and eligible to undergo Developed Vetting (DV) Security Clearance. Applicants must hold British nationality, and any additional nationalities must be declared as part of the application process.
