Are you a Design Engineer from a solar background, looking to elevate your career within a specialist consultancy, offering full inhouse training on building services with direct progression into Senior Design Engineer or Technical Lead roles?

Would you like a varied position where no two days are the same, using your technical expertise to solve complex problems across an array of interesting and challenging projects?

In this role you will assist in the designing of engineering solutions in multiple sectors, working predominantly in education sectors, with projects including Solar PV installation, HVAC, and other building services. Duties also include supporting the Project Manager with site visits and assessments of client requirements.

Founded nearly 40 years ago, this specialist consultancy operates from multiple locations across the UK and prides itself on delivering bespoke engineering solutions within the Solar, HVAC, and building service sectors with a focus on renewable energy projects. This company has experienced rapid growth and is looking to continue its success by securing new projects while maintaining the high-quality service it provides to clients nationwide.

This role would suit a Solar Design Engineer looking to develop their knowledge and skillset with full specialist training, including on building services, alongside a company looking to invest in someone to develop alongside them with scope for progression.

The Role:

• Use AutoCAD to design an array of civil engineering solutions
• Support projects from concept to completion including Solar PV Installation and HVAC
• Occasional site visits to assess client needs and problem solve
• 37.5 hours a week, Monday - Friday; 8:30 - 5pm, scope for hybrid working after probation
