Solar Electrician

Solar PV Electrician (No roof work required) – x2 Positions

Location: Stourbridge / Kidderminster / Worcester

Position Type: Ongoing Contract

Workload: 5 jobs per week (1 job per day average)

Start Date: Immediate / Flexible

We are recruiting two qualified Electricians for an ongoing solar installation contract. This role focuses strictly on the AC side, inverter, battery storage, and grid connection.

There is NO roof work required. Roof mounting, array installation, and DC roof cabling are handled entirely by dedicated roofing teams.

• Install, wire, and commission solar inverters, battery storage systems, and AC isolators.
• Perform consumer unit upgrades or alterations where necessary.
• Run AC cabling from the inverter location to the main distribution board.
• Carry out full Inspection, Testing, and Commissioning (EIC) on completed installations.
• Complete and submit electronic handover paperwork and test certificates daily.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
• Solar PV / Renewable Qualification (City & Guilgs 2399-11, EAL Solar PV, or MCS-recognized equivalent).
