Parkinson Gray Associates is recruiting for an experienced Solar PPM Project Manager to manage planned maintenance contracts across a national portfolio of solar PV and renewable energy assets.
The role combines project management, planned maintenance and renewable technologies. You will coordinate maintenance activity across multiple sites, manage engineers and subcontractors, monitor performance and ensure contractual obligations are met.
You will also act as a key point of contact for clients, review asset performance information and identify remedial works and further project opportunities. Key Responsibilities
- Manage planned maintenance programmes across multiple solar PV sites.
- Coordinate engineers and specialist subcontractors.
- Ensure contractual KPIs, SLAs and compliance standards are met.
- Review maintenance reports, inspection results and technical performance data.
- Manage budgets, purchase orders and supplier costs.
- Prepare quotations for remedial works.
- Provide clients with regular programme and performance updates.
- Produce compliance reports, forecasts and operational updates.
- Ensure compliance with relevant electrical and health & safety standards.
- Support continuous improvement across the maintenance function.
- Provide guidance and support to engineers and junior team members.
The Successful Candidate
- Project Management experience within renewable energy, electrical building services, facilities management or a similar environment.
- Experience delivering planned preventative maintenance contracts.
- Strong client relationship management skills.
- Commercial awareness and experience managing budgets.
- Good understanding of electrical systems.
- Experience managing multiple projects or sites simultaneously.
- HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering, Building Services or equivalent industry experience.
- Full UK driving licence.
Solar PV experience is highly desirable, as is exposure to battery storage, EV charging and decarbonisation projects. Familiarity with CAFM systems, Power BI or Microsoft Project would also be useful.
A valid drone licence and the ability to carry out drone inspections is listed as an essential requirement in the client brief.
