Location: UK Wide – Site Based, with nationwide travel and regular staying away
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 + Travel / Staying Away Package
Position: Full Time
We are looking for Mechanical Fitters / Solar PV Installers to join commercial Solar PV installation teams working across the UK.
You will work alongside Lead Fitters installing the mechanical elements of photovoltaic systems.
Responsibilities
- Assemble Solar PV mounting systems
- Install rails, brackets and associated equipment
- Work on commercial rooftop and ground-mounted systems
- Follow drawings and installation specifications
- Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship
- Support snagging and rectification works
- Work safely at height and in accordance with RAMS
Requirements
- Solar PV installation experience
- Mechanical fitting / installation experience
- Roofing, steelwork or construction background beneficial
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Good H&S awareness
- CSCS Card
- Full UK Driving Licence & Own vehicle
- Happy to travel and stay away nationwide
Working at Height qualifications are advantageous.
