Solar PV Maintenance Engineer

Location: Surrey
Salary: £35,000 – £46,000 depending on experience
Full-time | Permanent

We are looking for an experienced Solar PV Maintenance Engineer to join a growing renewable energy business based in Weybridge.

You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and fault-finding of Solar PV and Battery Storage systems across residential, commercial and industrial properties throughout London and the Southeast.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain and upgrade Solar PV systems
  • Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance
  • Diagnose and repair faults across Solar PV and battery storage systems
  • Work with inverters, panels and electrical components
  • Carry out inspections, testing and site surveys
  • Complete risk assessments and ensure HSE compliance
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service
  • Complete all relevant job sheets, reports and documentation

About You

  • Minimum 1 years’ experience installing and maintaining Solar PV systems
  • Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting experience
  • Good technical knowledge of Solar PV systems
  • Experience with inspection and testing
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong communication, organisational and time-management skills
  • Professional, punctual and flexible with a can-do attitude
  • SSSTS, IPAF/PASMA and ECS Gold Card are desirable/advantageous

Mandatory Qualifications – MUST HAVE

Due to end-client requirements, all required qualifications MUST be current and in date.

You must hold:

  • 18th Edition
  • 2391 or 2394/2395 (or equivalent) C&G qualification
  • Solar PV qualification
  • EESS qualification

Candidates without the required current/in-date qualifications cannot be considered.
