A leading digital transformation organisation is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to support the design and delivery of complex digital solutions across large-scale enterprise environments. You will play a key role in shaping client requirements, defining solution architectures and aligning business needs with innovative technology solutions.

Your new role

As a Solution Architect, you will work closely with delivery, engineering and business stakeholders to define, design and implement scalable, secure and commercially viable solutions. You will take end-to-end responsibility for architecture design across complex systems and help drive digital transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and translate them into solution architectures.
• Lead the design of complex systems and enterprise-level solutions.
• Shape innovative and competitive technical solutions aligned to business objectives.
• Define architectural strategy, standards and implementation approaches.
• Provide technical leadership across solution design and delivery teams.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams covering cloud, AI, integration, application development, testing and digital transformation initiatives.
• Ensure architecture governance, design quality and adherence to best practice.
• Support the development of new architectural approaches and mentor colleagues within the wider architecture community.
• Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed
Essential skills and experience

• Active SC Clearance.
• Experience working as a Systems Architect or Solutions Architect.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an Architect position (or equivalent).
• Over 5 years' experience as an IT professional.
• TOGAF or BCS ISEB Architecture certification.
• Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
• Experience translating business and feature requirements into technical specifications.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale technology solutions.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
