Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8:30am – 5:00pm)
Salary: £38,000
About the Role
This role is responsible for producing, reviewing, and maintaining SOPs within a leading housing provider, ensuring all documentation meets internal, external, and contractual compliance requirements. Working closely with the Contract Compliance Manager, the role supports the delivery of fully compliant SOPs and related documentation for internal and external stakeholders, while assisting with wider documentation activities and collaborating with regional teams to ensure consistency, compliance, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to accurately map policies, processes, procedures, and workflows.
- Produce, review, and maintain SOPs and associated documentation in line with business, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and high standards within documentation processes.
- Support effective service delivery through planning, risk management, and escalation of issues where required.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal colleagues, external organisations, and third-party partners.
- Provide support and cover to the wider team as required.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within CCMS and other relevant systems.
- Support the Contract Compliance Manager in delivering documentation and compliance objectives.
Required Skills
- Proven experience writing, reviewing, and maintaining SOPs, policies, procedures, and process documentation.
- Strong written communication skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience working within compliance, regulatory, contractual, or quality-driven environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to interpret business requirements and produce clear, compliant documentation.
- Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks and escalate appropriately.
- Experience contributing to continuous improvement and process enhancement initiatives.
