KPI Recruiting are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join a busy Italian restaurant in Glasgow on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with fresh ingredients, takes pride in high standards, and is ready to support the Head Chef in running a smooth, organised kitchen.

The role is full-time, working 5 days out of 7, with a salary of £37,000.00 per year plus paid overtime.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Supporting the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
  • Preparing and presenting high-quality Italian dishes to a consistent standard.
  • Helping to lead, motivate and develop the kitchen team during service.
  • Maintaining strong food hygiene, health and safety, and cleanliness standards.
  • Assisting with stock control, ordering, waste management and food costs.
  • Contributing ideas for menus, specials and seasonal dishes.
  • Working closely with front of house to help deliver a great guest experience.
  • Experience as a Sous Chef, Junior Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie in a busy restaurant kitchen.
  • A genuine passion for Italian food, fresh ingredients and quality cooking.
  • A hands-on approach with the confidence to support and guide a team.
  • Good knowledge of food hygiene, HACCP and kitchen compliance.
  • The ability to stay calm, organised and positive during busy services.
  • Right to work in the UK.
