Key Responsibilities:

You'll help lead the kitchen team and support the delivery of consistently high standards across restaurant, bar, private dining, and events:

• Support the Head Chef with food preparation and service.
• Help deliver creative, high-quality seasonal dishes.
• Maintain excellent standards of presentation, flavour, and consistency.
• Train, guide, and support kitchen team members.
• Lead by example during service.
• Assist with the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen.
• Monitor stock, costs, and supplier relationships.
• Support menu delivery across the hotel and special events.
• Help create an exceptional guest experience.

What we're looking for:

We're looking for an experienced chef who can combine strong culinary standards with confident team leadership:

• Experience supporting a professional kitchen team.
• Experience in catering for large C&B functions.
• A focus on quality, presentation, and seasonal cooking.
• The ability to guide and develop colleagues through training and practical support.
• Confidence working across restaurant, private dining, and events service.
• Good awareness of stock, costs, and kitchen operations.
• A reliable, organised approach and the ability to lead by example.

Please note, staff live in accommodation is not available with this Sous Chef role, so candidates should only apply if they are able to commute to the Bath area daily.
