SPEN Site Manager

First People Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced SPEN Substation Site Manager to join a major high-voltage infrastructure project in Glasgow.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading contractor on a significant SPEN project. We are looking for a highly experienced Site Manager with a proven background in managing high-voltage substation works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

• Manage the day-to-day delivery of SPEN substation works.
• Oversee site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure all works are completed safely and in accordance with project specifications.
• Maintain programme, quality and health & safety standards.
• Liaise with clients, engineers and project stakeholders.
• Ensure all site documentation and permits are maintained and up to date.

• SPEN Competent Person accreditation.
• SMSTS.
• CSCS Black Card.
• HSG47 - Avoiding Danger from Underground Services.
• Temporary Works Supervisor.
• Proven experience in HV cabling installation.
• Previous experience managing SPEN substation projects.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.

• Negotiable rate, dependent on experience.
• Immediate start available.
• Opportunity to work on a major SPEN infrastructure project.
• Ongoing contract with a reputable contractor.
