Location - Manchester (M13)

Hours - Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm

Pay - £505-£550 per day, depending on experience

Start Date - 03/09/2026

Contract Type - Long-Term, Temp to Perm

Are you a passionate and resilient Sports Coach looking to broaden your experience within a specialist school? We are currently working with a pupil referral unit in South Manchester to recruit experienced Sports Coaches to join their team. As a sports coach, you will work 1:1 with pupils, using sports as a way to re-engage.

The Role:

• Supporting pupils with SEMH needs on a 1:1 basis
• Maintaining regualr communication with parents, staff and external agencies
• Co-ordinating fun and engaging sessions for pupils

What we require:

• A genuine passion for sports and sports coaching
• Previous experience supporting Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
• Team Teach Level 2 is highly desired but training can be provided
• Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)

To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional references
