At Engage Education, we're looking for enthusiastic and motivated Sports Coaches and Teaching Assistants to support pupils in primary, secondary, and specialist schools across Liverpool. The Role

As a Sports Coach / Teaching Assistant, you'll use your energy, leadership, and communication skills to support pupils both inside and outside the classroom.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering engaging sports, PE, and enrichment activities.
• Supporting pupils in lessons on a one-to-one basis, in small groups, and within the classroom.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and helping pupils develop confidence and resilience.
• Assisting teachers in delivering engaging learning activities.
• Supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), where required.
• Promoting teamwork, inclusion, and healthy lifestyles.
• Helping to create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment.

About You

We're looking for candidates who have:

• Experience in sports coaching, mentoring, youth work, or working with children and young people.
• A positive, proactive, and enthusiastic approach.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• The confidence to motivate and inspire young people.
• A genuine passion for supporting children's development.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• The right to work in the UK.

A qualification in Sports Coaching, Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related subject is desirable but not essential. We also welcome applications from graduates, aspiring teachers, and individuals with transferable skills.
