Location: Indian Queens, Cornwall
Rate: £600 per day
Contract: Temporary
Hours: 50 hours per week
Working Hours: 07:30-17:30

Duration: Until 30/4/2027

Role Overview:
We are currently looking for an experienced M&E Site Manager / SR163 PCSM to support works on a major National Grid substation project in Indian Queens, Cornwall.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing M&E activities on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise M&E works on a live substation project
• Take responsibility for the safe delivery of works within your area
• Coordinate subcontractors and site operatives
• Ensure works are completed in accordance with project specifications and programmes
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and quality Liaise with site management and other project stakeholders
• Monitor progress and identify any issues or potential delays
• Ensure site activities are carried out in accordance with relevant procedures and permits
• Provide leadership and direction to site teams

Requirements:

• SR163 / PCSM
• NG Person
• Previous experience working on National Grid substation projects
• M&E site management experience
• Manual Handling
• Strong understanding of health & safety requirements within a substation environment
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage site activities and subcontractors effectively
