Salary: £27,000 - £34,000 per annum (including sleep-ins, depending on experience)

We are looking for caring, resilient, and motivated Children's Residential Support Workers to join a welcoming Residential Children's Home in Godstone, supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). The organisation has one established home, with a "good" rating from Ofsted, and have just launched their second provision, which has welcomed its first young person.
The home is located in a beautifully green, rural part of Surrey, right by Godstone. The service is nestled amongst a cluster of farms and fields, offering the children an abundance of outdoor activities, within the local area. Due to the location of the home, a car/bike is essential, as transport links are limited.
This is a rewarding opportunity to help children and young people build confidence, develop life skills, and achieve positive outcomes within a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide care and support to children and young people who have trauma informed backgrounds.
- Build positive relationships and promote emotional well-being.
- Have an understanding of trauma informed approaches.
- Support young people with daily routines, education, and social activities.
- Encourage independence, personal development, and positive behaviour.
- Participate in recreational activities and community outings.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to care planning.
- Work as part of a dedicated team to create a safe and nurturing home environment.
- Follow safeguarding policies and promote the welfare of all young people.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 6 months experience working with children, in the UK, within the last 3 years
- Ability to build positive relationships with young people to help them achieve their goals
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
- Full UK Driving Licence needed
- Willingness to complete relevant training and qualifications.
