Static Refrigeration Engineer

Location: Central London
Salary: Up to £50,000 (up to £55,000 for the right candidate)
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off
Job Type: Full-Time

A rare opportunity is available for an experienced Static Refrigeration Engineer to join a prestigious high-end retail site in Central London. This is a static position within a flagship luxury retail environment, where you'll be responsible for the maintenance, servicing and repair of a wide range of commercial refrigeration systems. • 
  Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on commercial refrigeration equipment.
• 
  Diagnose, service and repair a range of commercial refrigeration systems, including CO2, glycol and A2L applications.
• 
  Respond promptly to breakdowns while ensuring minimal disruption to the retail operation.
• 
  Complete service reports and technical documentation accurately.
• 
  Ensure all work complies with current F-Gas regulations and health & safety standards.
• 
  Work closely with the on-site engineering team and client representatives.
• 
  Assist with maintaining critical spare parts and stock levels.
• 
  Maintain the highest standards of workmanship and customer service within a luxury retail environment.

• 
  Previous experience as a Commercial or Static Refrigeration Engineer.
• 
  Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• 
  Experience maintaining commercial refrigeration equipment.
• 
  NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (or equivalent).
• 
  City & Guilds 2079 (or equivalent F-Gas qualification).
• 
  Pressure testing competency is advantageous.
• 
  Experience with OEM compressor manufacturers and refrigeration controls would be beneficial.
• 
  Professional approach with excellent communication skills, suitable for working within a customer-facing luxury retail environment.
