Steam Boiler Engineer

We are looking for a Steam Boiler Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.

As the Steam Boiler Engineer​​​​​​​, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.

The Steam Boiler Engineer​​​​​​​, will be responsible for:

• Provide support for all critical operational equipment required for steam generating operations on behalf of utilities infrastructure.
• Carry out daily operational checks of the CHP plant and record required information on the agreed format. Complete Planned, Preventive Maintenance tasks on the CHP steam generation plant.
• Provide a comprehensive engineering service to the Site.
• Carry out isolations to Company standards to enable the safe disconnection of electrical and mechanical equipment.
• To check, test, set and adjust mechanical equipment to the levels to their proven competence and electrical resets where applicable.

To be successful for this Steam Boiler Engineer​​​​​​​ role you must have:

• Demonstratable evidence of technical qualifications in the relevant field (Preferably BOAS D6A).
• Evidence of previous experience working on Steam generating boiler plant.
• Knowledge of working on BMS systems. Confirmed space entry and escape trained.
• Asbestos Awareness.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
