Steel Fixer / Cage Builder Required

We are looking for an experienced Steel Fixer / Cage Builder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the assembly and construction of reinforcement cages for a range of precast and construction projects.

Pay Rate: Competitive, depending on experience

• Build reinforcement steel cages to detailed drawings and specifications.
• Measure, cut, bend, and tie reinforcement steel.
• Assemble column, beam, pile, wall, and foundation cages.
• Ensure cages are built accurately and within production deadlines.
• Read and interpret reinforcement drawings and bar schedules.
• Carry out quality checks to ensure work meets required standards.
• Maintain a safe and tidy work area.
• Work effectively as part of a fabrication and production team.

• Previous experience building reinforcement cages.
• Ability to read and understand steel fixing drawings and schedules.
• Skilled in tying steel reinforcement and assembling cages accurately.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently when required.
• CSCS card advantageous but not essential (depending on workplace).
