Steel Fixer

Pay: £235.00 per day

Job Description:

Orbitech Recruitment are currently looking for Steel Fixers to join our reputable client based in North Lincolnshire.

The duties of a Steel fixer Include:

• Assemble the steel components required to strengthen and reinforce concrete structures such as bridges, reservoirs, etc.
• You will work as a team to position, assemble and fix different shapes and sizes of steel rebar to the correct specifications.
• Cut, bend and connect reinforcing steel.
• Apply general workplace health and safety requirements when undertaking tasks.
• Plan and undertake work practise productively.

Pay:

• £235 p/day (typical 9-hour shift)

Duration:

• 14 - 20 months

Key Skills:

• Read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Knowledge of working with concrete.
• Previous steel fixing experience.
• Good level of physical fitness.
• Previous use of power tools and machinery.
