Overview
We are seeking an experienced Service Supervisor to join an offshore operations team supporting well stimulation activities in the North Sea. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and operating stimulation equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient execution of offshore stimulation campaigns, and providing leadership to onboard personnel.
This role requires a strong background in well stimulation operations, vessel-based control room environments, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and oversee stimulation blending processes from the vessel control room.
- Manage the operation of Liquid Additive Systems (LAS) and associated stimulation equipment.
- Ensure all equipment is prepared, tested, and ready for operational use.
- Set, verify, and test system trip parameters in accordance with operational requirements.
- Carry out maintenance and minor repairs on assigned equipment, escalating requirements where necessary.
- Monitor and report treatment chemical usage, inventories, load-outs, and backloads.
- Maintain accurate calibration records for equipment, flow meters, and associated systems.
- Provide supervision, guidance, and on-the-job training to offshore personnel.
- Ensure compliance with all HSEQ policies, procedures, and emergency response requirements.
- Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and chemical management records.
- Support COSHH compliance requirements and associated assessments.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of operational performance and service quality.
- Perform additional duties as required to support offshore operations.
- Extensive experience operating stimulation equipment within offshore environments.
- Previous experience working in a vessel control room setting.
- Strong background in well stimulation operations.
- Significant experience with proppant and acid pumping operations.
- Experience leading and supervising offshore personnel is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of offshore stimulation processes and equipment.
- Excellent leadership and personnel management skills.
- Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong planning, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to working in offshore environments.
