Stock Controller

£30,000 - £35,000 | Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm (40 hours per week) | 20 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

Are you an experienced Stock Controller, Stores Person or Inventory professional who thrives on accuracy, problem-solving and taking ownership?

We're looking for a highly organised and proactive individual to become the go-to person for stock control across our warehouse operation. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys investigating discrepancies, improving stock accuracy and making a real impact on business performance.

This is a largely autonomous role, so you'll need to be comfortable working independently, taking responsibility for stock accuracy, and seeing investigations through from start to finish.

• Taking ownership of stock accuracy across warehouse and off-site locations.
• Carrying out physical stock counts and PI checks at least 2-3 times per week.
• Investigating stock discrepancies through both system analysis and hands-on warehouse checks.
• Monitoring stock movements and maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Producing stock reports and supporting audit compliance.
• Liaising with Warehouse, Customer Service, Purchasing and Planning teams.
• Managing stock transfers, traceability and stock-related administration.
• Identifying opportunities to improve stock accuracy and warehouse processes.

• Significant experience in Stock Control, Stores, Inventory Management or Warehouse Operations.
• Candidates from any industry background are welcome to apply.
• Strong working knowledge of Sage and Microsoft Excel.
• A hands-on approach with a willingness to spend time in the warehouse as well as at a computer.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the confidence to investigate and resolve stock issues.
• Self-motivated, proactive and comfortable working on your own initiative.
