Store Person (Plymouth) – Fulltime

An opportunity to work on our MOD project in Plymouth, delivering major redevelopment works over the coming years.

PAYE basis

Competitive rate depending on experience/qualifications
Paid Holidays: 30 days per year (including bank holidays)

Must Have:

• CSCS Green Labourer Card
• Good knowledge of construction materials, PPE and tools
• Good IT skills with the ability to maintain accurate records
• Previous experience working as a Store Person on construction or infrastructure projects
• Experience managing stock control, deliveries and issuing materials
• Good organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable and proactive approach to work
• Must be eligible for BPSS Security Clearance
• Candidates must hold a passport from a NATO or MISWG member country and have resided in the UK for the past 5 years

This role is site based - Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect and book in deliveries of materials, PPE and tools
• Issue materials, tools and equipment to site personnel
• Maintain accurate stock records using IT systems
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages to management
• Carry out regular stock checks and inventory control
• Keep the stores area clean, organised and secure
• Ensure all tools and equipment are inspected and recorded correctly
• Liaise with suppliers and site teams to ensure materials are available when required
• Support the successful delivery of major MOD infrastructure works
